the Hostile Bacon story

Most people want to know how we came up with the name Hostile Bacon and while reading this you may be thinking "I'm one of those people". Like  most things there's a story that includes good food, good wine, good company and outrageous conversation. The name came about while discussing what we thought would be cool band names. You know how that conversation goes, "If I were in a band I'd call it....", obviously we're not a band and never got beyond talking about being in a band, but when it was time to decide on a name for our business Hostile Bacon was one that felt right, quirky and cool. We felt it was a memorable name for a place to find memorable gifts.

Founder and Director, Miss Ren has always created unique pieces of fashion and accessories for family and friends, as well as being a purveyor of most things quirky. Over the years many people would ask Miss Ren for shopping advice or to just do it for them.  As interest grew in what to buy and where to get it from, Miss Ren needed the convenience of online and hostilebacon.com.au was born.  

For lovers of unique and quirky gifts to spoil yourself and your friends, Hostile Bacon will regularly provide you with new and interesting items you won’t find at the local shops down the road. Everything is hand picked by Miss Ren and gets the Hostile Bacon stamp of approval.
