Meet your maker has nothing to do with our own life expiration, but everything to do with buying products made by Australian clothing and footwear homeworkers. Ethical Clothing Australia is an Australian Government funded initiative that assists the local textile, clothing and footwear industry to ensure Australian workers receive fair wages and decent conditions.
You can meet the maker of your item by going to www.meetyourmaker.org.au and there you can learn a bit about the person who made the product.

Why did you choose to work in fashion / textiles?when she started there was lots of work in the textile industry (it was protected) at her first job the factory taught her what to do in Greece she was a trained hairdresser
Best thing about the job?there are always new things to do
Favorite item of clothing? scarves
